Port Brewing / Lost Abbey Anniversary Ale is a massively hopped strong pale ale brewed to celebrate their anniversary each year. Anniversary Ale is light gold to pale orange in color and offers a potent aroma of fresh pine and citrus with some warming alcohols present. The taste is a thick, chewy hop presence only barely contained by balancing malts. The finish is pure hop expression with a moderate warming alcohol sensation.

Main Tap Tavern‘s Sierra Nevada Sunday BBQ was a great success! Local smoking enthusiast Eugene Karoliszyn of El Cajon, California smoked up all of the tri tip that was shipped from Sierra Nevada from beef that was feed the spent grain from the brewery in Chico. Steve Grossman, the Beer Ambassador from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Chico, California, &
co-founder Ken Grossman‘s older brother, hung out with Eugene as the bar scarfed down the juicy tri tip sandwiches! They did not last long before all 25lbs were consumed. We will be having more great weekend patio events like this in the future as we get even closer to the summertime months, so keep checking our website or newsletter for details. Cheers!

California Roots Republic is a company that functions on multiple levels with one goal in mind. Bringing clients products & services rooted in consciousness. California Roots Republic & Main Tap Tavern have teamed up to bring you new talent on a regular basis here at the tavern.
For the first act, we have brought in Soulective for our Saturday, June 1st performance. They are an all female reggae band based in San Diego, California. They are emerging on the scene with an amazing set of dubs & some songs with the great voice of talented drummer & vocalist Ariel Singh. Soulective has a very deep sound & is sure to make any crowd forget about their worries & dance the night away. Be here to see them start at 9pm!
In between the girls‘ sets, & leading you into the rest of the night after the band; Humble Lion Sound System will provide the vibes with selections ranging from rub a dub to dancehall! See you here!
